Evacuation Process

Emergency Procedures

In case of fire, or fire drill, please proceed to the nearest stairwell to evacuate the building. Do not use the elevators.

If you have a physical limitation that prohibits you from using the stairs, please contact 581-3333, give them your location, and ask that they send an elevator to pick you up.

In the event of any type of building emergency (fire, severe weather, bomb, etc.), occupants will be notified through the Emergency Notification System. Please listen carefully to the message, as it will tell you specifically what you need to do.

When you first arrive at the Philcade Building, please familiarize yourself with the building evacuation routes and destinations located in the coffee bar of each floor. If you are not familiar with the area, please ask your contact how to get to your destination. Please review the section "Common Floor Plans" for each of our buildings to identify the fastest evacuation route.
